The Governance committee of the RTHS Board of Directors meets monthly, typically at noon on the Friday that precedes the full Board meeting.

For a School Improvement Team (SIT), we need to consider:

  1.  Structure/role of an SIT and its impact on the structure/role of the RTHS Board 
  2.  Aspects of an SIT that require Board approval
  3.  Changes to the Bylaws required as a result of the addition of a SIT 

    (ex. Is the Board voting on its SIT reps or are the Board reps determined by position -- Chair or Vice Chair and AcEx Chair, etc.?)

We should begin proposing retreat dates as soon as possible. We could send a Doodle. Could we meet by the end of September/beginning of October?

  4.  School Director search (priorities, values, structure, engagement)
