II. Academic & School Performance Committee Meeting - New Business
A.
TMSA Strategic Improvement Plan- Academic Achievement & School Climate and Culture
- Reviewed the existing Strategic Goals from the existing plan (2021-2025).
- The committee will only discuss goals related to Academic & School Performance (Goal 1)
- The next plan will align with the approved probationary 3-year charter renewal (2025-2028).
- Will update it to be through 2030 to make sure we are prepared for the next renewal.
- Discussion on Goal 1 (Student Academic Achievement). The Committee, including Administration, agreed with the listed Objectivities and Strategies for Goal 1.
- Discussion on Goal 3 (Climate and Culture). Made minor updates/edits made. The Committee, including Administration, agreed with the listed Objectives and Strategies for Goal 3.

- Middle Grades Perception Data: Student and Families
- Results were reviewed with the Committee
- Middle grades (6-8) had 127 student responses.
- Middle grades (6-8) had 20 parent responses.
- Georgia Department of Education Climate Survey (CCRPI) - Currently at a 30.97% response rate. Needs to be above 71% to prevent our star rating from going down.
- Retention Policy for school year 2025 and retention timeline.
- Quorum not met to officially vote to move to full board meeting. Committee Chair saw no concerns with moving it forward to the board for a full vote.

Faculty Report

- Thank you to the board members that donated to the PBIS Rewards.
- Winter Survey 22 staff members completed (middle school only)
- Results and some of the responses.
- Results will be used for planning in the 2025-2026 school year
- Invite to pop into the PBL Night next week.
