TEACH Prep-TEACH Academy Retention Strategies
Mr. Ramirez and Mr. Gomez spoke about general retention strategies moving forward for this current academic year. Mr. Ramirez shared that, just as what is now occurring at TEACH Prep and TEACH Tech, there should be a monthly open house in the afternoon for families. Mr. Gomez will share potential dates/times soon. Mr. Ramirez encouraged Mr. Gomez to reach out to Ms. Rhee regarding potential 4th grade school visit to TEACH Academy. Mr. Ramirez additionally encouraged Mr. Gomez to reach out to Ms. Rhee regarding an upcoming TEACH Prep Coffee with the Principal meeting where he can introduce himself to parents in attendance.

TEACH Academy-TEACH Tech Retention Strategies
Mr. Ramirez, Mr. Gomez and Mr. Cordero jointly shared ideas specific to general retention strategies moving forward for this current academic year. Mr. Ramirez began by sharing the need of perhaps 8th grade TEACH Academy visits to TTCHS and/or TAT/TTCHS Pep Rally being scheduled. Mr. Cordero shared a plan which includes an eventual collaboration between TAT/TTCHS student governments once the high school has decided various details regarding a TAT campus event. Collaborative meeting may take place in mid-January.
C.
TEACH Academy-TEACH Tech Joint Pep Rally
Mr. Cordero also shared that having a pep rally at the 7th/8th grade TAT campus in February would be a desired goal. This would include athletes and a cheer squad. Mr. Ramirez also shared that both Mr. Gomez and Mr. Cordero may possibly send out a welcome letter in the mail to both 5th and 8th grade families respectively.
