Call the Meeting to Order
Caitrin Wright called a meeting of the Academic Success Committee of Navigator Schools to order on Wednesday Oct 28, 2020 at 3:34 PM.

Approve Minutes from Prior Meeting
Caitrin Wright made a motion to approve the minutes from Academic Success Committee on 09-02-20.
JP Anderson seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

II. Academic
A.
Coaching Model
M. Alatorre Alnas provided an overview of the Navigator coaching model, including key components and processes. C. Toriumi shared details of coaching related to model dissemination. S. Martin demonstrated data dashboards related to coaching and proficiency growth. C. Wright asked clarifying questions concerning strategies for online coaching and connections between coaching and student achievement.
B.
Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Data
S. Waller presented SEL data. She answered questions from members regarding collaboration with other schools and community organizations to support social and emotional learning and well-being.

Onsite Learning Update
S. Waller provided an update on onsite learning, including attendance, staffing, and related outreach. J. Dent shared a video of an Onsite Distance Learning (OSDL) classroom.
D.
Academic Data
J. Dent demonstrated data trackers for student participation and engagement during distance learning. He shared NWEA MAP results, tracking student growth from fall 2019 to fall 2020. C. Wright asked questions regarding the instruction of pre-literate children via internet technology and issues of equity in instruction and intervention.
