Call the Meeting to Order
F. Lin called a meeting of the board of directors of Forte Preparatory Academy to order on Wednesday Feb 15, 2023 at 6:33 PM.

Approve Minutes (Jan 2023; Dec 2022)
F. Lin made a motion to approve the minutes from Forte Prep Board Meeting on 01-18-23.
E. Winn seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
C. Padula made a motion to approve the minutes from Forte Prep Board Meeting on 12-21-22.
L. Rodriguez seconded the motion.

General Update
Discussion of Black History Month celebration at Forte Prep. Discussion of recent trip to SDNY to meet US Attorney and Federal Judge.
Have been making HS hires, including AP and sports positions. Working to hire COO and CCDO roles for high school. Lisa Friscia assisting with hiring.
ED Graham Browne shared updates on High School expansion/new campus :
- Hiring: The AP (Asst Principal) for High School campus has been hired.
- Student recruitment is underway (mix of in person presentations & print/social media enrollment outreach)
Board action items:
- [by end of Feb] Post & circulate the COO and CBDO searches via social & professional networks. Deadline for application: beginning of March 2023.
- For Career Day (spring time, date TBD] Solicit/invite colleagues & friends to join Career Day (aim for 15-20 new names)
