E. Winn called a meeting of the board of directors of Forte Preparatory Academy to order on Wednesday Jun 24, 2026 at 6:05 PM.

Approve Minutes from April mtg.

E. Winn made a motion to approve the minutes from Board Meeting on 05-27-26.
W. Yip seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

EdTec review of financials

2025-26 Enrollment Budget vs Actual

  • Net variance in operating income reviewed

Budget vs. Actual Expenses

  • Variances due to personnel decisions and lower spending across categories

2025-2026 Budget vs. Forecast Full Year

  • Revised forecast due to facilities related tax expenses

2025-2026 Budget vs. Actual YTD and Full Year Financials reviewed

 

Cash flow scenario expectations reviewed

2026-27 Budget Review and Approval

Reviewed current budget for 2026-27 in terms of enrollment, FTE, interns

  • Graham shared plans for new staff, including resources for college-bound seniors

Discussed how 2026-27 budget line items were estimated

W. Yip made a motion to approve 2026-27 budget.
L. Teye seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

III. CEO Report

Executive Session

E. Winn made a motion to approve CEO proposed compensation.
J. Cordero seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

B.

CEO Report

FP Graduation!

  • 89 students graduated this year.
  • 50% are returning to FP high school.

Moving to new high school building over summer!

  • Summer school will be in the new high school.
  • College and career office sponsorship secured.

Charter renewal application due in August.

 

Ribbon cutting will be in September.
