In accordance with Mayor Garcetti's "Safer at Home" City Order (Link) and Governor Newsome's State Executive Order( Link) CNCA will be holding Board Meetings via ZOOM video conference and telephone. No physical CNCA school locations will be open to the public.
This meeting is open to the public through the telephone 1 (669) 900-9128 (US Toll) and ZOOM video conference. To ensure meeting safety, there will be an online ZOOM waiting room set up for participants 10 minutes prior to the meeting. Attendees will be welcomed in prior to the start of the meeting at 4:00 pm. The waiting room will be checked regularly so that anyone joining the meeting late can still join.

California’s Ralph M. Brown Act has been amended to allow fully virtual board meetings during a state of emergency after the Governor signed Assembly Bill 361 into law on September 16, 2021 with some provisions. Since the guidance from local authorities regarding the safety precautions for COVID-19 is dynamic, the CNCA board must evaluate the need to meet virtually on a regular basis. The CNCA LCAPs submitted for SY 2021-22 were approved at the June 28, 2021 board meeting. Since then, other supplemental funding sources have become available and Section 124(e) of AB 130 requires LEAs to present an update on the Annual Update portion of the 21-22 LCAP and Budget Overview for Parents on or before February 28, 2022. The report will include the One-Time Supplement, any available mid-year data related to the metrics outlined in the 21-22 LCAP, and a mid-year expenditure update related to the actions outlined in the 21-22 LCAP. This One-Time Supplement will be included as part of the Annual Update for the 2022-23 LCAP.
