Call the Meeting to Order
K. Furr called a meeting of the Governance Committee of The Exploris School to order on Monday Dec 3, 2018 at 3:14 PM.

Approve Minutes
K. Furr made a motion to approve minutes from the October Governance Meeting on 10-22-18 October Governance Meeting on 10-22-18.
E. Schollmeyer seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
II. Governance
A.
Gift and Donation Policy
The members of the committee had already reviewed on their own the changes suggested by George and Ellie and we discussed the changes that we wanted to recommend to the full Board.
B.
Ideas for Criminal Background Policy
We discussed open issues with moving toward background checks for volunteers. We need to look into the finances of moving in this direction - what are other schools doing to cover this cost?
