K. Furr called a meeting of the Governance Committee of The Exploris School to order on Thursday Nov 2, 2017 at 3:41 PM.

Approve Minutes
C. Jones made a motion to approve minutes.
K. Furr seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
II. Governance
A.
Policy Discussion
- Discussed 7310: no extra revisions necessary.
- Discussed: 7300: discussed extracurricular activity fees - do not appear to be any where the school is establishing and keeping the fees - they are established by outside entities and all of the money goes to those entities
- Also discussed donations for scholarships and where those funds sit and how scholarships are determined - see policy 6100 - this needs to be updated as we move forward and we should consider adding details about what happens to money when it is not needed for a specific purpose
