Call the Meeting to Order
J. Gerdts called a meeting of the board of directors of The Exploris School to order on Wednesday Apr 5, 2017 at 5:30 PM.

Closed Session
J. Gerdts made a motion to move into closed session per our bylaws to discuss issues related to personnel, pursuant to NCGS section 143-318.11(a)(6).
C. Cunningham seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
The Board discussed issued related to personnel.
D.
Open Session
J. Gerdts made a motion to move back into open session, our closed session discussion being concluded.
C. Cunningham seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
II. Closing Items

Adjourn Meeting
J. Gerdts made a motion to move out of closed session and adjourn the meeting.
K. Byars-Nichols seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
There being no further business to be transacted, and upon motion duly made, seconded and approved, the meeting was adjourned at 7:00 PM.
