Questions:

The procedure will be amended by the grievance committee and come through the governance committee for recommendation to the board.

Policy Items
The question is does Exploris have the policies in place to meet the mental health, safety and security of all students.
Summer shared the Responsive Classroom and restorative practices information the governance committee.
Question regarding whether the board approves the student handbook. Tom Miller shared he believes the full board should based on the record that the board saw the handbook and approved.
Staff would love to have full time support in terms of creating programming (mental health and behavioral support) for resources and teaching teachers.
A policy could be recommended that the head of school will annually ensure that all staff members have been trained on the school-wide discipline plan and procedures.
