E. Grunden called a meeting of the Educational Excellence Committee of The Exploris School to order on Thursday Aug 14, 2025 at 4:09 PM.

II. Educational Excellence

A.

Discuss goals for next year

Consideration of 

  • SEL assessment and longitudinal study of improvement in students and effect of interventions
  • NC Check-ins and other measures of performance assessment
  • communication to families about changes in Explorations coming this year and why we are making them
  • Communication about testing efforts at Exploris in response to parent concerns that there is too much testing going on, and level of student stress and involvement (low stakes vs high stakes testing)
