Board Chair asked EEC to discuss an bring back recommendations for the following public comment from the February Board Meeting:
Does Exploris have any ability to expand opportunities for academically gifted kids? I love Exploris for so many reasons but it sometimes feels like academics take a back seat to all the community partnership opportunities (which are all great as well). It would be so nice to have some opportunities like Battle of the Books, Science Olympiad or Math Olympiad...and other extracurricular activities geared toward academically high-performing kids. |
