We have one agenda item: to discuss and brainstorm revisions to clear definition and means of assessing educational excellence. Our starting draft (Created by Keely and Summer) of items and objectives:
 

1. Standardized test scores: MAP, EOG
2. Diversity: racial, socioeconomic, and geographic
3. Teaching practice: hours engaged in service based learning and community engagement; narrative summaries of co-teaching experiences, social curricula
4. Teaching Portfolios (Excellence Tool) designed by Kaizen team (this could be used as self-reflection tool for teachers and/or a means to do annual review of teachers). Could include lesson plans, examples of student work with feedback, narrative self-assessment, teaching observation reports.
