Development

We have raised 18% of our annual fund - about $54,000. The annual report is in the editing stage and will be mailed out the second week of October. The annual appeal letter will be sent out in early November. 

We have submitted a proposal for the growth campaign to the Louis Calder Foundation and will submit one to the Ludcke Foundation later this month. 

Let's discuss updates to the outreach work outlined from last month.

What are our next steps? 

Jewelle and Nat Bickford have offered to host a party on behalf of Alma next summer. The goal would be to build support from people as we expand on the growth campaign. Initial ideas include: 

-"price of admission" is bringing a book for Alma's library
-A list of most wanted books would be distributed beforehand
-Party would include talk from Will
