James Wallace Board Member Trustee jimwallace02338@yahoo.com Jim is a life-long banker who began his career in 1982 working for Bank of New England. Accumulating over 40 years of experience since then, he has held several positions in accounting, information management, and bank operations for several local financial institutions before joining BayCoast Bank in 1990 as their Internal Auditor. Jim served as the Bank’s Comptroller before being appointed to Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer in 2006. He now serves as their Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer where Jim is responsible for effectively growing the Bank and its subsidiaries, and to drive the strategic direction of the organization. Jim’s management and contributions have proven successful as BayCoast Bank has seen significant growth under his leadership. Jim is also a longtime supporter of our local community serving as a Board and Finance Committee member for the United Way of Greater Fall River, People Incorporated, the Greater Fall River Development Corporation, and the Arc of Greater Plymouth. In addition, Jim coaches for the Special Olympics and Downey Baseball’s Bambino Buddy Ball, which is a program designed to help special needs children enjoy the full benefits of playing baseball in an athletic environment tailored to their abilities. Jim attended Bentley University and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and is also a graduate of the ACB National School of Banking. Jim and his wife Lynn reside in Halifax, Massachusetts and have two sons, Christopher, and Matthew.

John Korn Board Member Trustee I am originally from the Rochester, NY region. I attended college at the U.S. Naval Academy where I earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and lettered four years on the Navy lacrosse team. I was selected to be a team co-captain my senior year and I was a two-time All-America selection. Upon graduation I served in the U.S. Marine Corps for six years. My business career includes work in manufacturing and business services, but the majority of my career was spent in higher education administration. I worked close to 18 years at Harvard Business School where my last position was as the Executive Director of HBS Doctoral Programs. I retired from HBS in 2017 and became the Dean of Undergraduate Studies at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy. Since 2019, I have focused on teaching at Harvard's Extension School and working with several non-profits in the New Bedford area. I hold an MBA from Boston College and a Doctorate from Northeastern University. I am married to Jayne Rebello Korn and we reside in Dartmouth, MA.
