FEMA update
Travis: Inspector came back out. Continues to state we don't have Helene-related damage.
SRCA has signed off on 2 of the 3 buildings, which means we're accepting their answer, with expectation of future conversation. To that point:
A state agency is available to help cover costs FEMA doesn't cover.
Is on hold until we receive final letter, then will have in-person meeting with FEMA.
Ben: Sidewalk & Pond repair funds are in hand. We're bidding out correct blueprints.
If funding doesn't come through, the plan is to have some honest conversations about next steps.
More to the point: We need to adjust our plan to the reality of our situation.
Requested sustainability report of Dellwood campus (gr 9-12)
Ben: Lease on that property ends Jan 2027.
Josh gave report (Zach & William unable to attend)
Cash on hand: 939.9 million (down from 1.05 million)
is 45.8 days of operating (was 51.8 days in recent months)
Compare to last year, we're behind, likely due to state releasing funds v. conservatively while waiting on budget approval.
Bottom line: Deficit is lower than last month (was -70k, now -50k)
Supply spending has decreased significantly in Oct.
William VanHook joined from CSP:
Travis sent billing yesterday, 10/15/2025, for more funds.
William asked about our real ADM & how that will affect future funding:
-Josh: confirmed Federal held harmless for current ADM & state did not. Both accounted for in the budget.
William reported about carryover from hurricane relief (~39k) to see if there are expenses we can apply to those funds.
-Josh: What are stipulations: Christy @ CSP is expert. He knows other schools have been able to use for personnel. Suggested Travis connect with Christy.
=follow up in Nov meeting=
Ben has question:
Note asking about mapping of capital improvement expenses. Does CSP need data/info to support this?
-William: Confirmed Christy is working on this & both she & he will continue making sure it's done correctly.
-Each month, William looks for the expenses to identify what needs to move from repair an maintenance to Capital improvements.
