Vision, Mission and Core Values
Vision: To develop globally minded citizens who have the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to effect positive change in our world.
Mission: The GLOBE Academy fosters Global Learning Opportunities through Balanced Education for children of all backgrounds. With a focus on dual-language immersion, an experiential-learning model, and a constructivist approach, GLOBE inspires students to be high- performing lifelong learners equipped to make a positive impact in the world.
Core Values: The GLOBE Academy’s core values are expressed in the acronym, CREST: Community, Respect, Empathy, Sustainability and Trust. These values are expected of the governing board, faculty, staff, parents, and students. They are woven into daily life at GLOBE and incorporated into the curriculum.

  • Launch event earlier - Tuesday, October 20 - connections/PE classes showing promo video, open DoJiggy
  • Buff pick up - Wednesday, October 28 - during lower campus materials pick up (8 am to 3:45 pm), upper campus 8am to 12pm
  • Buff drop off and volunteer sign up
  • Christi will do introduction and teachers will do warm up; planning committee responsible for post event celebration 

 

   
  B. Prizes
   
  • Had to simplify for admin staff and fulfillment while everything is still virtual
  • Admin wants us to state that every kids gets a buff
  • Kona Ice - want to fulfill that before Thanksgiving - only invite classes that received 100% participation (time 2:30 - 5:30 pm?)
  • Restructured raffle structure - every $50 gets a raffle entry
  • $150 in gift cards for Global Challenge and Top Fundraisers
  • Need to order GLOBE gear - Have $775 left to buy GLOBE raffle prizes
  C. Sponsorships
   
  • Have one runner level ($750)
  • Didn't make a video, but thanked our current sponsor to hopefully catch the eye of others with businesses they want to promote
  D. Event Marketing
   
  • Brochure and login information - sending to teachers instead of email
  • Two promo videos - ready for Oct 20 kick off
