Our team went to market and negotiated a reduction in monthly admin fees and worker's compensation fees from Paychex required new board signature and approval. |

GASC benefits for 2023-2024 year have been negotiated as follows:
By reallocating money saved from the reduction on Paychex admin fees and Workers Compensation costs, all full time employees will be auto-enrolled in company-sponsored short term disability coverage as of January 1, 2024. This coverage will pay 60% of weekly pay for up to 13 weeks if they have to miss work for any personal medical reason that lasts longer than 7 days, at no cost to the employee! This will also serve as a functional parental leave program for all the expecting mothers in the future. GASC will cover a flat $355 monthly for all medical plan levels and maintain $20/month for all dental plans. We will move from the 4 Florida Blue plans to 3 NEW Aetna plans that may be a few more dollars for the premium but are almost all cheaper when it comes to actual doctor's visits and medications. |
