Paige Teusink shared the latest financials and the update that while it's early in the year, the Gather & Grow Campaign is on track based on prior year's performance. Paige pointed out the cumulative recurring gift expectation has not yet been broken out monthly on the current report, but will complete that for the committee meeting in September.

Paige Teusink shared the FY 2020-2021 year end results. The Gather and Grow Campaign exceeded the annual goal. The committee discussed participation rates and how best to track over time and if setting a participation rate goal would be a way to help drive increased participation. The committee recommended that given the last few years' uncertainty that it was most important to continue tracking using the same method to help build a trend line and then consider setting a goal for the 2022-2023 FY. Paige updated the committee on the Gather & Grow Campaign plan for the 2021- 2022 fiscal year. The welcome letter to all parents was sent this week with a direct ask for Gather and Grow. The committee discussed the question of the donor party and given the current status of the pandemic and the numbers who might attend the recommendation was made to table it for now and reassess in the Spring and to send a thank you to all those who would have been invited to the party with a video from Chuck.

Barrett Coker Krise shared goal to step back and reassess the fund development strategy for 2021-2022 with an eye to building a better fund development infrastructure for the school. New committee members have been recruited that have robust backgrounds in development to help drive strategy. The committee discussed some areas for focus including matching gifts, sponsorship solicitations, and personal solicitations for Gather and Grow to help drive additional donations and encourage people to increase their support.

The committee set the meeting schedule to be the 2nd Thursday of the month at 9:00AM.
