Call the Meeting to Order
Emily Ormsby called a meeting of the Finance & Operations Committee of Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School to order on Thursday Apr 15, 2021 at 8:35 AM.

Approve March 11, 2021 Meeting Minutes
Irina Brimmell made a motion to approve the minutes from Business & Operations Committee Meeting on 03-11-21.
Ben Sutton seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
II. Business & Operations Update
A.
Financial Performance Update
- Total income trending above budget
- PPP loan forgiveness
- Without PPP loan forgiveness, trending a bit below budget due to outstanding grants and lower-than-budgeted aftercare and nutrition income
- Expenditures are in line with the budget overall
B.
FY22 Budget Approval
- The budget includes zero revenue increase
- The budget assumes restoration of pre-covid activities in program income – athletics, nutrition, aftercare, etc.
- Salaries and benefits expenses have increased in line with APS
- Chuck will add FY20 and FY21 actuals to the budget presentation
C.
Middle Campus Mortgage Refinance
No update.
D.
Facilities and Grounds Update
- HVAC replacements at EC to be done over this weekend or the following weekend because parts needed to be manufactured. MC work is underway.
- EC recess fields and school gardens
- Two property visits scheduled – Trees Atlanta and Bread and Butter Farms. Tree planting at EC – eye toward aesthetic and curriculum. Bread and Butter Farms looking at raised beds and garden space at both campuses. Visits will include Chef Bradley.
