The Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE), Division for Exceptional Children shared TAS FY25 LEA Determination. The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) requires GaDOE to review the data of each Local Education Agency (LEA) to evaluate the LEA’s performance in meeting requirements and purposes of the IDEA. The attached letter and chart provides you with information on your FY25 LEA Determination. Additional data can be found in the LEA Determination tile in the Special Education Dashboard located in the GaDOE Portal.

The Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE), Special Education Services and Supports shared TAS's LEA’s FY25 Special Education Disproportionality Determination. The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) requires The State Agency (GaDOE) to make determinations annually in the areas of Significant Disproportionality (Identification, Placement, and Discipline of Students with Disabilities), as well as, Disproportionate Representation, and Significant Discrepancy. The attached letter and chart provides you with information on your LEA’s Disproportionality Determination. Additional data can be found in the Disproportionality Tab in the Special Education Dashboard located in the GaDOE Portal.
