Call the Meeting to Order
J. Santos called a meeting of the board of trustees of Rochester Academy Charter School to order on Thursday Oct 28, 2021 at 5:43 PM.
W. Middleton arrived at 5:47 PM.
II. Finance and Facilities
A.
General Contractor Selection for Gym Construction
Andrew Gartley and Herb Guenther presented the bid details and shared their recommendation. The board discussed the bid amounts and the school's current financials. The bid amount came out to be higher than the architectures' initial estimate.
After having discussions, the board decided to collect more information such as the monthly mortgage payment amount and its impact on the budget to be able to make a final decision. Finance Committee will analyze the school budget and mortgage loan amount and then make a recommendation to the board.
