Call the Meeting to Order
G. Tillery called a meeting of the Community Outreach Committee of Rochester Academy Charter School to order on Thursday Sep 17, 2026 at 1:03 PM.

Approve Minutes
M. Demirtas made a motion to approve the minutes from Community Outreach Committee Meeting on 05-20-25.
W. Middleton seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

Review Monthly Meeting Topics Calendar
The group discussed the topic calendar and agreed on several revisions. Mehmet will update the document and share the final version at the November Committee meeting.
C.
Review Mission, Vision, and Key Design Elements
Mehmet presented a slideshow to staff highlighting the school's mission, vision and recent achievements, including two seniors being accepted to University of Rochester and RIT with full scholarships. He shared photos of graduates to demonstrate the school's commitment to preparing students for college or careers. The presentation emphasized RACS's strategic intent of being a STEM-focused school of choice.
