Call the Meeting to Order
S. Al called a meeting of the Academic Excellence Committee of Rochester Academy Charter School to order on Tuesday Dec 9, 2025 at 1:18 PM.

Approve Minutes
M. Demirtas made a motion to approve the minutes from Academic Excellence Committee Meeting on 11-18-25.
J. Doyle seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

Review Progress on WIG

NYS Testing Comparative Data 2025
Overall state test results showed improvement compared to the prior school year. Grades 3–8 state assessments and annual Regents results are generally higher than the home district average and are approaching the state average. Cohort Regents results exceed the state average.

There being no further business to be transacted, and upon motion duly made, seconded and approved, the meeting was adjourned at 2:04 PM.

J. Doyle, together with the principals, presented the WIG Scoreboard. Overall student attendance was impacted by the flu. At the high school level, senior attendance was additionally affected by necessary excused absences.
i-Ready performance improved.
Passing rates fluctuated.
Behavior data stayed positive.
