End of Year NWEA and Maine Through Year data check-in

The leadership team has been working on analyzing the data for NWEA and Maine Through Year. The data has been combine so the team has been separating the data and looking at proficiency as well as growth data.

Team will share our CRCS Self-Assessment as soon as it is complete with the board.

Susan and Elizabeth shared out an overview of the data.

          ** Susan focused data analysis to grade 3 and grade 6 because of previously being lower in previous years.

Grade 4 struggled a bit this year so they will be a focus group for the upcoming school year.

The focus will be grouping learners according to data that we know is the most accurate so that rigor level is kept high.

          ** Elizabeth focused on each grade level data and not really separating out the NWEA vs Through Year.

Focused on looking at data for kids who are new to CRCS vs learners that have been with us over the past 3+ years.

Grade 10 struggled and more data analysis will be completed for them.

Goals for the upcoming school year:

   * Academic Pathways being posted district wide starting to make it more clear for staff and learners.

    * Unpacking standards with learners

    * Focus on making a smoother transition for new learners to our district to help more immediate academic growth
