Call the Meeting to Order
S. Fehringer called a meeting of the Academic Excellence Committee of Vida Charter School to order on Thursday May 19, 2022 at 4:05 PM.

Approve Minutes
J. Lewis made a motion to approve the minutes from Academic Excellence Committee Meeting on 04-14-22.
S. Fehringer seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED to approve the motion.

Spring Staff Survey

Analytic Memo
Elana shared information from a review of student retainment data. Although not a clear picture, it appears that proximity to VIDA seems to have the greatest impact on which students remain at VIDA for multiple years.

Family Survey Data
Elana shared results of the annual family survey. 74 responses were included.
D.
2022-23 Staffing Update
Elana shared an update about previously proposed positions that will require board approval. VIDA is projecting a number of openings for teaching staff.

Results of staff survey demonstrate a very positive atmosphere with teachers pleased with collegial approach and their work at VIDA. Staff concerns focused on consistency of student discipline and communications.
