Call the Meeting to Order
S. Fehringer called a meeting of the Academic Excellence Committee of Vida Charter School to order on Thursday Nov 11, 2021 at 4:03 PM.

Approve Minutes
S. Fehringer made a motion to approve the minutes from Academic Excellence Committee Meeting on 09-09-21.
N. Oberholtzer Hess seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED to approve the motion.
II. Academic Excellence
A.
Review beginning-of-year data for literacy (English and Spanish) and math
C. Miller and E. Nashelsky shared information regarding present progress towards completion of beginning of year assessments. Results for Spanish and English literacy were shared. Additional disaggregated data was also shared looking at ethnicity, home language and level of additional support.
B.
Staff Survey
S. Fehringer shared a copy of last years staff satisfaction survey with the committee. The committee suggested the addition of questions in relation to staff input about pandemic protocols and administrative support in handling the multitude of tasks facing staff. A question relating to distance learning would be eliminated. A draft of changes will be sent to committee members in the near future for review.

J. Lewis made a motion to Adjourn the meeting.
N. Oberholtzer Hess seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED to approve the motion.
There being no further business to be transacted, and upon motion duly made, seconded and approved, the meeting was adjourned at 4:59 PM.
