At TEACH Academy, revenue is up significantly due to increased ADA, the school has 258 days cash on hand.  At the high school, ADA is below projected and overall revenue is down.  Board member asked about the lower ADA and McNeel explained that the school was still in robust financial health.  At the elementary school, ADA is up, revenue up and all positions are filled. the school has a projected 204 days cash on hand. The CMO is projected to end the year at 3.4 million. The Financial report presentation is attached to the meeting materials.

CEO Report

Dr. Carranza gave an update on how the school year was going for the schools- diagnostic testing is taking place, seniors are gearing up for the college application season, and the school site leaders are focusing on academics.

Principal Reports on Preliminary Diagnostic Assessment Data and Professional Development Plans

Steven Menduke gave the presentation for the high school (materials included in packet).  He described the initial diagnostic testing and noted that every grade level grew in RIT score and and the staff is unpacking diagnostic data in professional development.  He described reading across the curriculum and two professional development pathways- culture and environment and rigor.  All teachers study both pathways but separating the areas has allowed the team to increase focus and specific strategies for each.  Board Member Lobdell asked about the impact of no social worker and Carranza explained that the identified candidate took another position but the position may be revisited.  He explained it was intended to be a shared position among the schools.

Greg Perez gave the report for the 5th and 6th grade.  He described in detail the different assessments  that students were taking and that some students were significantly below grade level but did not go into detail on student academic levels.  He talked about the various platforms.
