Mr. Ramirez introduced the topic regarding the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP). Mr. Ramirez spoke about its importance in capturing the voice of families through our School Site Council and beyond. The objective is to improve our campuses through surveys and information that is shared by our families, students and staff. Mr. Ramirez shared that the general goal is to be specifically proactive with the information that is shared. Surveys assist with the information being gathered which will specifically lead to larder conversations on how individually and collectively, TEACH can be held accountable.
Mr. Ramirez mentioned that today's conversation will be based on various general questions that are under various important topics which include School Climate and Environment,Academic Programs and Learning, Parent Involvement and Communication, Student Support and Equity, Budget and Priority Setting, Accessibility and Logistics and Needs and Alternative Options. Mr. Ramirez mentioned that today's meeting will be an hour but follow-up calls will be made with today's participants specific to questions that were not asked during the meeting.
