Specifically, Mr. Gomez shared various tips for families which included attempts at reading during informal moments, through everyday chores and holiday events. Mr. Filidor generally shared that the goal is for students to interact with reading throughout their winter break in order to continue routines that led to reading practice in English.
Both Mr. Ramirez and Mr. Gomez led a general conversation in regards to a follow-up Parent Feedback Survey from the November School Site Council Meeting. Survey questions included topics as school safety, morning/afternoon campus drop-off/pick-up, promoting drug free school environment, the after school program and tutoring.
