Winter Break Slide Presentation / Presentación estudiantil sobre vacaciones de invierno
Mr. Filidor facilitated a presentation entitled TEACH Parent Workshop: Winter Recess Tips, which shared information in regards to the number of calendar days students will be at home, upcoming progress report/attendance record information and the importance of families in prioritizing routine during the winter break, that involves the whole family. Specifically, Mr. Filidor shared various tips for families which included attempts at reading during informal moments, through everyday chores and holiday events. Mr. Filidor generally shared that the goal is for students to interact with reading throughout their winter break in order to continue routines that led to reading practice in English. / El Sr. Filidor facilitó una presentación titulada Taller Para Padres TEACH: Consejos Para Las Vacaciones de Invierno. En ella, se compartió información sobre la cantidad de días que los estudiantes estarán en casa, la información sobre el próximo informe de progreso y el registro de asistencia, y la importancia de que las familias prioricen una rutina durante las vacaciones de invierno que involucre a toda la familia. Específicamente, el Sr. Filidor compartió varios consejos para las familias, incluyendo la práctica de la lectura en momentos informales, durante las tareas cotidianas y las actividades festivas. En general, el Sr. Filidor explicó que el objetivo es que los estudiantes interactúen con la lectura durante las vacaciones de invierno para continuar con las rutinas que les permitieron practicar la lectura en inglés.
