Compost data (this year - Aug&Sep 24)

  • Continuing to divert/compost 94% of Cafeteria waste.
  • We are collecting breakfast food waste from all schools which is 9% of total food waste.
  • 47% increase in volume this year compared to last year.

Cost saving Data comparison FY23&FY24

  • Solid wase went down $81k, recycling went up $14.6k with an addition of Vanguard Renewal for Composting $7K
  • Overall, we saved over $50,000 last year with Food waste compost and recycling program last year compared to the previous year of FY23.
