Draft Budget for 2026-2027
Surplus of only $3,000 at this time, because the state just increased retirement. We are at this time anticipating a 3% raise from the state, but are hoping that it is more.
Board sets a goal of $60,000 surplus. We could reduce the longevity supplement, and licensed teacher stipend. This would help us reach our surplus goal.
Discussed the budget for technology for the next school year as well. And offsetting the cost by purchasing some tech this year. This way we do not have to reduce the longevity supplement, and licensed teacher stipend.
We currently have 100 days cash on hand, and Cory is suggesting that we keep 60 days cash on hand.
