Mission:

The Mission of Brevard Academy is to prepare its students to achieve academic excellence through the Core Knowledge Sequence. Through a partnership involving students, teachers, and parents the school strives to create citizens with strong moral character and active intellectual inquiry.

Vision:

Brevard Academy: A Challenge Foundation Academy (BA-CFA) a K-8 public charter school develops and encourages motivated, intellectually curious students who are skilled in critical thinking, individual expression, and problem-solving. From their diverse backgrounds, students accept our challenge to pursue personal and academic excellence. Through this pursuit, they become confident members of their community who lead by serving others.

  • K-2 Playground Drainage Work 
    • JK has completed drainage work on K-2 playground and alongside the cemetery.
  • FEMA Repairs
    • Soccer Field
      • We are lining up contractors to get this accomplished.
    • Parking Lot
      • Paving--getting new estimates and scheduling
      • Drainage, curbs, and gutters--estimates in hand.
  • Other Drainage (Water Issues)
    • Landscaping adjacent to the front of the building will need to be removed for drainage to be put in, part of FEMA project.
    • Vestibule drains to eliminate standing water 
      • $3,000.00/vestibule--5 areas to address.
        • Completed by mid-October
    • Awning for the K-2 Playground/Conference Room Door 
      • Estimate of $22,000.00.
  • Bus Parking Area next to the back shed
    • Gravel and Manufactured Stone
