Yacleyda Gonzalez, a parent of a middle school student at WCPA has expressed dissatisfaction with our current discipline policies as outlined in the Student/Family Handbook, particularly in relation to an incident involving her child in October. Ms. Gonzalez has requested that we revisit the discipline policies detailed in the handbook. She believes these policies do not adequately address her concerns regarding her student’s experience.

In August 2024, the WCPA Board approved the addition of 8 modulars to the Delano campus to enhance the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP). WCPA now seeks approval for additional invoices totaling $144,600 for required work, including fire panel installation ($83,200), trench work ($55,000), and design and permitting by RLH Fire Protection Inc ($6,400).
