Call the Meeting to Order

P. Feder called a meeting of the Real Estate Committee of KIPP SoCal Public Schools to order on Monday Jul 25, 2022 at 3:05 PM.

Approve Minutes

J. Miller made a motion to approve the minutes from KIPP SoCal Real Estate Committee Meeting on 03-14-22.
R. Bishop seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

II. Real Estate Acquisitions

A.

Discussion & Vote Regarding Potential Real Estate Acquisition at 8480 S. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA

R. Bishop made a motion to Approve the resolution authorizing KLARE Holdings to enter into a Purchase Sale Agreement and place a deposit in escrow for the acquisition of property at 8480 S. Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA.
J. Miller seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

Conference with Legal Counsel - Existing Litigation. No action was taken during closed session.

Conference with Legal Counsel - Potential Litigation. No action was taken during closed session.

IV. Real Estate Updates

A.

Update on Active and Potential Projects

K. Salyer and E. Hagstrom presented updates on our projects for KIPP LA Prep, KIPP Scholar Academy, and KIPP Comienza Community Prep as well as for the potential acquisition for KIPP Poder Public School.

There being no further business to be transacted, and upon motion duly made, seconded and approved, the meeting was adjourned at 3:12 PM.
