Call the Meeting to Order
M. Montero called a meeting of the Finance Committee of Libertas Academy Charter School to order on Tuesday Dec 12, 2023 at 5:35 PM.

Approve Minutes
J. Gunther made a motion to approve the minutes from Monthly Finance Committee Meeting on 11-21-23.
P. Kkayego seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED to approve the motion.
II. Executive Director updates
A.
Update from ED:
- School update and current status: Students are in the holiday spirit, in general all is well. ED continues to promote a continuous improvement spirit.
- Libertas opening CD accounts with Peoples bank and Fidelity: On track and in progress.
- Fund raising initiative on track to reach the desired goal.
- New facility: Contruction in progress. Possible risk of not meeting the July 1st target; however, from a financial perspective, no concerns, delays are covered within the contract. Only issue to care for will be moving in the middle of a school year.
III. Finance
A.
Financial statements
Strong financial position, great financial presentation this month. No concerns from the financial committee.
Monthly financials were approved.
