Meet the Board

Adam Haber Board Chair Governance Committee Chair Adam Haber serves as the head of analytics and reporting for enterprise lending at First Citizens Bank. In his current role, he is responsible for leading the development and support of the Bank’s lending strategy for $200+ billion in assets. In prior roles Adam has led teams focused on data analytics, credit strategy, M&A due diligence, and has served as a lender for middle market companies and high net worth individuals. Adam brings expertise in strategic leadership and data-driven decision making as well as in commercial finance, credit and lending and has previously served as the treasurer of a local Montessori school. Adam lives in Hillsborough with his wife, Rachel and their three boys, two of whom attend Eno River Academy. In his free time Adam enjoys cooking, reading historical biographies and golf.

Jeremy Greene Board Vice Chair Governance & Facility Committee Member Jeremy and his wife Kelly have 3 boys, 2 of which have already graduated from ERA and the youngest will graduate in the class of 2029. After graduating from Northern Durham HS, Jeremy went in the United States Air Force where he served for 4 years as a F-15E Strike Eagle Crew Chief. After a Honorable Discharge Jeremy obtained his Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license to continue his aviation career beyond just the military. After a short stint at Midway Airlines in the late 90's Jeremy moved on to General Aviation where the focus was more of a Mon-Fri 8-5 sort of job with family being the main focus. Jeremy additionally obtained his FAA IA (Inspection Authorization) certificate in 2016 and has been employed with University of North Carolina working as an Aircraft Technician since 2009. Jeremy has served on the ERA Board of Directors since 2021 as Treasurer and currently Vice Chair. Jeremy's interests include serving on short term mission trips with his wife through his church Crosslink Church Mebane, working on his cars and attending car events with his son, watching sports, playing golf, getting away to the beach, and spending time with his family.

Amanda Bisset Board Member Facility Committee Member Amanda is an Internal Medicine physician and Associate Medical Director for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety for Hospital Medicine at Duke Regional Hospital. She has experience has a Unit Medical Director and currently leads multiple projects and committees at DRH. She was born and raised in New Brunswick, Canada, before attending medical school at Saba University School of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Tulane in New Orleans before moving to Durham for her husband's fellowship program at Duke. She is passionate about Lifestyle Medicine, the importance of nutrition, outdoor time and physical activity for everyone. She is a mom to three girls and has been enjoying life in Hillsborough since 2020.

Caleb Osborne Board Member Governance Committee Member Caleb joins the ERA board in 2026, bringing professional expertise in engineering, product development, and business strategy in 15+ years of medical device and robotics engineering. His professional focus is on product portfolio strategy and engineering leadership. As a parent of two young boys, Caleb regularly serves as a rec soccer and basketball coach and enjoys the opportunity to instill curiosity and confidence in his teams. Caleb's hold BS in Mechanical Engineering from NC State and an MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology. He is a lifelong NC resident and lives in Hillsborough with his family. Caleb enjoys the outdoors, exercising, and traveling.

David Nagel Board Member Academic Committee Member dnagel@enoriveracademy.org Dave has been an ERA parent of five children since 2015. He brings to the board expertise in strategy development and governance based on his 20 years of experience as a life science business executive. His work spans areas such as AI and data strategy, partnerships, leading a consulting service, commercial analysis, and corporate strategy. Dave has a long background supporting students and advocating for change in education. He has taught HS mathematics, coached HS soccer, led state-level STEM and equity reform initiatives, and consulted with NC DPI on curriculum and testing. He has also served on advisory teams at Immaculata and NCSSM. Dave holds an MBA from Duke, an MEd from Vanderbilt, and a BS in mathematics from Penn State. He lives in Durham, NC with his wife and five children and enjoys the outdoors and cooking.

Joe Cassettari Board Member Facility Committee Chair Joe Cassettari is a Senior Project Manager with Bobbitt Construction, where he leads the planning and construction of commercial projects throughout the state. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from the University of Nebraska in 2012 before serving four years in the U.S. Army as a Combat Engineer, including a deployment to Afghanistan in 2013. Following his military service, Joe chose to make North Carolina home and has spent the past 11 years in the construction industry. Throughout his career, he has managed the construction and renovation of five schools across North Carolina, bringing firsthand experience in creating safe, functional, and inspiring learning environments for students and educators. Joe and his wife, Brittany, live in Efland with their two boys and have called Orange County home for nearly seven years. He is committed to supporting high-quality education and strengthening the local community through his service on the school board. In his free time, Joe enjoys woodworking, golfing, and spending time with his family.

Pamela Norcross Board Member Academic Excellence Committee Chair pnorcross@enoriveracademy.org Pamela Norcross, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor and Program Coordinator in Child Development at Meredith College. Her research focuses on maternal depression during infancy and its effects on early parenting. Prior to her academic career, she worked at Duke Children's Hospital as a developmental support specialist in the neonatal intensive care unit and as a child life specialist. Dr. Norcross earned her Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2019. She holds certificates in Clinical Trials Research from Harvard Medical School and Public Health from Cornell University. She has expertise in early childhood development, education, parenting, developmental research, and grant writing. She previously served on the school board for The Raleigh School. A Charlotte native, she completed her undergraduate studies at Appalachian State University with a double major in Psychology and Child Development, followed by a master’s degree in Child Life and Family-Centered Care at Wheelock College of Human Development and Education at Boston University. Pamela currently resides in Carrboro. Her son attends ERA as an 11th grader, and her daughter graduated from ERA in 2023. She enjoys baking, reading, hiking, and traveling with her family.

Trish Blackmon Board Secretary Fundraising Committee Chair tblackmon@enorivreacademy.org With over thirty-five years of experience in healthcare administration, Trish has enjoyed a diverse professional career that includes hospital administration, state and county level public health leadership and private consultation. As a consultant, she has written, received and managed over $20,000,000 in federal and state grants for local governments and school systems including School Safety and Rural Health funding, Family Drug Courts, and School-based Health and Prevention Programs. Trish holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) and a Master of Public Health (MPH) and enjoys working with multidisciplinary groups to move collaboratively towards a common goal. She is the mother of two and grandmother of three and has always been involved in their school life. From volunteering in classrooms to serving on state and local committees and taskforces, Trish truly recognizes the importance of a supportive school community.
