This policy will guide the process to enter into large contracts.
At the last meeting, there was a question about the following language: Section IV includes language mentioning architects, engineers and construction management. Should these three functions be under Section V. Construction Contracts because they fall under the language of "construction and/or construction related services"? Legal counsel responded with the following answer: There is a special carve-out for special services, so the school does not have to bid those services out (specifically, the Section IV services) if it does not want to. That is why they are treated separately under Section IV. |

Staff recommendation is to enter into a contract with Wald Ruhnke and Dost Architects to design the repair of 260 W. Riverside. The contract has been reviewed by staff at Berding and Weil. |
