Call the Meeting to Order
L. Johnson called a meeting of the board of directors of GEO Academies EBR to order on Thursday Feb 16, 2023 at 8:30 AM.

Approve Minutes (January 12, 2023 Board Meeting)
D. Slan made a motion to approve the minutes from GEO Academies EBR - January Board Meeting on 01-12-23.
T. Wade seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

Q2 Financial Review
Due to technology issues, the Board was unable to hear Dana Teasley, Business Officer, who was attending remotely. Item was moved to the Finance Committee for further review.
III. Governance
A.
GEO Academies EBR Holdings - Membership
The Board discussed the status of the EBR Holdings Company, and the resignation of Robert McGarner to avoid a conflict of interest. The Board will review candidates for replacement.
The Board discussed planning for the upcoming 10 year Anniversary Celebration of GEO Foundation's invitation to start schools in Louisiana. The event will be held May 16, 2023.
