Call the Meeting to Order
M. Davis called a meeting of the Academic Excellence Committee of KIPP Memphis Public Schools to order on Wednesday Nov 10, 2021 at 5:00 PM.

Approve Minutes
M. Davis made a motion to approve the minutes from Academic Excellence Committee Meeting on 06-15-21.
S. Isabell seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
II. School and Enrollment Updates

An overview of KIPP Memphis Public Schools Enrollment Updates
The committee discussed the following:
- KMCE / KMAE / KMCM / KMAM - Reading On Track + Mastered with AMO Targets
- KMCE / KMAE / KMCM / KMAM - Math On Track + Mastered with AMO Targets
- KMCE / KMAE / KMCM / KMAM - Science On Track + Mastered with AMO Targets
- KMCM / KMAM - SS On Track + Mastered with AMO Targets
- KMCH On Track + Mastered with AMO Targets
A. Burt discussed KIPP Memphis Public Schools is going to start an attendance challenge site by site.
School Leadership and Teacher Openings
- KMAE: Assistant Principal of Instruction (11/29 start date), Elementary SPED, & 2nd Math
- KMAM: 8th Science, 6th Math (11/29 start date), 6th Science, & Gifted (shared w/ KMCM)
- KMCE: RTI Coordinator, Special Populations Coordinator, & 3rd Science
- KMCM: Gifted (shared w/ KMAM)
- KMCH: English III, Algebra II, Chemistry, Geometry, Spanish, SPED (inclusion)
Next Step:
- Update for the next meeting - what is the number of students versus the number of people taking high school classes.
- Present to the Committee the enrollment and attendance strategy, our staffing strategy, and assessment strategy in order to meet KIPP Memphis Public Schools goals
