I. Opening Items

Call the Meeting to Order

Kristen Michal called a meeting of the board of directors of Marysville School District to order on Monday Jul 20, 2026 at 6:00 PM.

Director Craig Hereth led the flag salute.

D.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

President Michal read the land acknowledgment.

E.

APPROVAL OF AGENDA

President Michal requested a motion on the agenda as presented.

 

Vice President Eliza Davis moved to approve the agenda as presented. Directors Hereth and Tomas simultaneously seconded.

 

The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion. Motion passed.

F.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

President Michal requested a motion on the minutes.

Craig Hereth made a motion to approve the minutes from Board of Directors Executive Session and Regular Session Meeting on 06-15-26.
Eliza Davis seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

II. SUPERINTENDENT REPORTS

A.

USI - Risk Update Report

Katie Henry, USI, presented the following Informational Report regarding the 2026-2027 Property and Casualty Insurance Renewal recommendation and answered questions from the Board:

The 2026-2027 Property and Casualty Insurance Renewal recommendation will be considered again and moved to the Consent agenda at the next Regular Session meeting.

Chad Coragiulo, Assistant Director of Human Resources, presented the following Informational Report and answered questions from the Board:

President Kristen Michal asked if anyone had a public comment on the Consent agenda. 

 

There were no public comments. 

 

President Kristen Michal requested a motion on the consent agenda as presented.

 

Director Craig Hereth moved to approve the consent agenda as presented. Director Mark Tomas seconded.

 

The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion. Motion passed

 

IV. BOARD DIRECTOR REPORTS ON BUSINESS CONDUCTED

Discussion

The School Board discussed the various Marysville school district and Marysville community activities they attended and participated in since the last board meeting

A.

Adjourn Meeting

Kristen Michal made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:47 p.m. Vice President Eliza Davis seconded the motion. The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion

There being no further business to be transacted, and upon motion duly made, seconded and approved, the meeting was adjourned at 6:47 PM.
