Barbara Johnson and Matthew Simone will take the following oath:

 “I, ___________, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of California against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of California; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties upon which I am about to enter."

“I,_____________________, do solemnly swear that I will faithfully discharge the duties of the office of member of the Board of Trustees for Literacy First Charter Schools  and accept all duties and responsibilities thereof including maintaining the mission, vision and values of this institution and the charter upon which it is founded.” 

Debbie Beyer will review the history of Literacy First Charter Schools, describe the school's current status, and discuss the school's future.

Board President, Priscilla Schreiber, will conduct an orientation for all board members.
