BOARD PRESIDENT REPORT / STRATEGIC DISCUSSION ITEMS & UPDATES:
I. Introduction of Prospective New RSV Board Members:
- Justin Krib's specialty is in financial literacy, education and was
recommended by the Exec. Dir. of Saturday Academy where he
served as a passionate educational advocate.
- Adrienne Mason's specialty is in non-profits in Vancouver (Children’s
Home Society) and community relations with the student
populations we seek to serve.
- Both have experience in non-profit governance and boards and a
desire to serve on the Board of Rooted School Vancouver
II. Board Committee Development:
- Finance, Policy & Operations
- Personnel, Staffing & Human Resources
- Academics & Authorizer Oversight
III. Meeting Times, Duration & Frequency:
A brief discussion took place of adding additional meetings and/or additional time to current meetings during the launch year to ensure that all work is completed in a timely manner.

Board Review of Recent Amendments to Rooted School Vancouver Bylaws
Amendments to Rooted School Vancouver Bylaws
Board Chair (Toby Martin) to make a motion to adopt the recent amendments to the Rooted School - Vancouver Bylaws for resubmission to both WA Charter and the State of Washington.

III. CEO REPORT

CEO UPDATE:
A more detailed discussion of the Rooted School Foundation Agreement -- Revisions and edits was led by Jonathan Johnson.
An agreement was reached to table the vote until a follow-up meeting with the leadership of RSF and RSV.

Finance & Operations Update
Corey Baron of Joule Growth Partners presented a high level 5 -Year Model of RSV finances/budget:
- Enrollment target
- Staffing model
- Facility costs
Revenue projections will likely be presented in June 2022.
