Approval of minutes of meeting from January 26, 2022

 

Motion: The motion was made to approve the minutes of the January 26, 2022 meeting.

II. CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS:
 

The consent agenda for this meeting addresses three resignations:

 

I. Resignations

 

  • School Leader - Carol Egan
  • Board Member - Justin Kribs
  • CEO (From RSV Board Only) - Jonathan Johnson

II. 1 Year Extension of the Planning Year
  A. Consent Agenda Items - 2-23-2022
   

I.  Board will motion and vote to accept the three resignations outlined below.

 

a) The motion was made to accept the resignation of RSV School Leader, Ms. Carol Egan.

 

b) The motion was made to accept the resignation of RSV Board Member, Mr. Justin Kribs.

 

c) The motion was made to accept the the resignation of CEO, Mr. Jonathan Johnson from the voting board of Rooted School Vancouver.  Mr. Johnson will continue working to support Rooted School Vancouver in his role as Rooted School Foundation CEO.

 

II.  Board will motion and vote to extend the planning phase of Rooted School Vancouver for an additional year.
III. BOARD DISCUSSION ITEMS
  A. BOARD PRESIDENT REPORT / STRATEGIC DISCUSSION ITEMS & UPDATES:
   

Board to hear a presentation from Taina Knox and Steven Carney regarding the content of the Rooted School Foundation Services Agreement.   There will be additional discussion to follow.
