Contracted PSE Benefit Eligible Employees with the Medical Lake School District can earn a $2000 Attendance Stipend.
Starting August 26, 2026, through last day of school, including any make-up days if applicable, benefit eligible employees with an attendance rate of 98% or greater would be eligible to earn the attendance incentive. Jury Duty, District Related Leave, or Union Business will not be included in the calculation, however all other Sick or Personal Leave will apply to the percentage total.
Due our continued positive audit performances we qualify as a low-risk auditee which allows to us to have a higher threshold for purchasing requirements, with board approval. This only applies for Federal purchases.

Approve 8th Grade Girls to Play on the High School Soccer Team
Vote
The inclusion of 8th grade the last two seasons has paid off. Overall participation numbers have increased from 6 (2024) to 13 (2025) to 17 (2026). The 8th graders who played have returned as 9th graders the following year. On this year's roster, 4 of the 6 freshman played as 8th grade, and 2 of the 6 sophomores also played as 8th graders, so we are retaining them in the program. We had zero seniors last year, and have just one senior this year, so the increased number of younger players has helped to replenish after some years when we did not have 9th graders turning out.
Any 8th graders who are interested in playing must not have already committed to MS cross country or volleyball. We will not take them from the MS programs. As we are requesting 8th graders to provide numbers for a 7 v 7 team, the expectation is that the 8th graders would be playing JV this year.
