Approval for 8th Grade Girls to Play on the High School Softball Team
Vote
After the first week of spring sports practice, the High School girls softball team has 17 girls turning out. Of those 17 girls, there are 5 +/- who will get next to zero innings played unless a request for 8th grade girls to join the team is approved. The High School Athletic Director's recommendation is to limit the 8th graders to JV only. If approved, the High School AD will work to add some additional JV games to the April & May schedule as they will, most likely, have to cancel all that are currently scheduled in March.
