• Facilities
  • Submitted an LOI for the temporary location
  • The Charter School Incubator is attempting to purchase the Two Rivers location.  INCS will be there long term once they purchase the property.
  • Should the purchase fall through, INCS can staff at the church location indefinitely.
  • Dr. Jones hopes to have the lease signed by 1/23/25.
• Enrollment
  • We want to have 200 applications by Feb. 19, 2025.
  • INCS currently has 115 applications.
  • Enrollment events are going well.
• Grants
  • We go before the Calder Foundation on 1/23/25. We need to have the lease in hand to ensure they release the 2nd round of funding.
  • Our goal is to get to $50k in fundraising.  There is a match that is out there but we need to hit the benchmark.
  • ACTION: send follow up to Allison with our current status toward the fundraising goal.
• Hiring
  • We had 200 candidates for 14 positions.
  • Many of the people that applied were not licensed or certified.
  • We are increasing marketing for the lead teacher role.
  • Teachers that need Montessori training will start in June. 
    • Still working on training plan and schedule.
  • Office Manager would start in June 2025.
• Commission
  • 1 board member needs to be present for each meeting.
  • ACTION: please sign up to attend the presentation meetings.
• Pro Dev
  • INCS staff will visit Montessori for all (in Austin) for pro dev license.
