If anyone needs special assistance to participate in the public input session, every effort will be made to provide an appropriate accommodation. When requesting accommodations for public input, please allow no less than 1 business day notice prior to the scheduled meeting.

 

Specific issues about a particular student should only be addressed to the school’s Director of Student Services, rather than the Board of Directors.

 

All public comments will be taken under advisement by the Board, but will not elicit a written or spoken response. The names of persons providing public comment and a brief summary of topics or input will be included in the meeting minutes published. A response will be provided to the stakeholder within seven (7) days.

September 2026 Financials

 

On the Balance Sheet you can see:

  • Cash Balances
    • I do propose that we moved $50,000 from the Regions Internal account to the First Citizens Operating Account. @Drew Ward this can be done as we discussed, write a check from the Regions INT account (7644) then deposit via the deposit machine into the First Citizens’s account (5625).
  • Revenue Receivables
    • FEFP is being paid on 574.43, whereas I am accruing based on 638 (budget), you will continue to build a receivable until this is balanced. @Drew Ward can you me what the October count was?
    • Capital Outlay is another revenue source that is paid based on last year’s ending FTE number, it is currently being paid monthly, but again we are building a receivable because it’s being paid at a lesser amount than we expect with current FTE. LCIR will not be paid until February, I am accruing 1/12th each month based on 638 FTE.
    • Triumph, we are recording expenses as indicated by the School and recording revenue to offset. – Primarily salaries in receivable. We are awaiting the 1st reimbursement this month, at which time I will need to reconcile what I currently have recorded against what is received.
    • The Lease payment is accrued based on the last agreement - $14,000/mo. Please send the updated agreement when available.
      • Another related piece of this is the shared services agreement between the School and Foundation; when there is a final agreement please share that with me so I can ensure I have things recorded accordingly.
  • Overall, in the third month of the fiscal year the school is showing a surplus of $546,086. Categorically there should be 75% of budget remaining, which when looking at these statements all seems well.
  • We previously discussed the school needing cash support before December, I’d like to see the Triumph deposit come through and reconcile that piece late this month then have a follow up conversation with administration to determine any areas with the budget that we need to be mindful of that we expect to see variances. For that reason, I have not made a lot of updates to my projections.
